1977年札幌生まれ。1997年よりクライアントワークを開始し、2007年にサトウアサミデザイン事務所を設立。表現とデザインの拠点として本格的に始動。

ASENDADAについて
2015年、ライフワークとして取り組んできたパターンデザインを法人化し、ブランド ASENDADA（アセンダダ）を設立。図案アーカイブを基盤に、パターンを視覚表現として展開し、テキスタイル、プロダクト、空間など多様な領域におけるサーフェスデザインを行っている。

Asami Sato works across the fields of artwork, visual design, and spatial direction, with drawing as the foundation of her practice. In parallel with both artistic production and client work, she expresses pattern-based visual concepts through her brand ASENDADA.
