ビジュアルアーティスト
ドローイングを起点に、絵画・プリント作品・空間表現を横断する制作を行う。
日常の中で目に留まる形や、場所に残る気配、記憶の断片などをすくい取り、
線や色、重なりとして画面に定着させる表現を探求している。
個人の表現活動と並行して、
表現の延長としての協働やプロジェクトにも携わり、
ドローイングを基盤とした視覚表現を社会的な文脈へ展開している。
また、サーフェスデザインスタジオ ASENDADA を主宰し、
スタジオ名義では、プロダクトや空間、グラフィックなどへの
表面表現の設計を行っている。

Working from drawing as a starting point, Asami Sato develops a practice that spans painting, printed works, and spatial expressions.
Her work draws from subtle forms found in everyday life, traces of memory, and the atmosphere of places, translating them into layered visual compositions.
Alongside her artistic practice, she engages in selected collaborative projects, extending her drawing-based approach into broader contexts.
She also leads ASENDADA, a surface design studio through which she develops pattern-based visual expressions for products, graphics, and spatial environments.
